ABOUT THE ROLE:
As Assistant Manager, Digital Insights & Capabilities, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of how insights are generated, shared, and embedded across The Magnum Ice Cream Company. Partnering closely with regional and global CMI teams, you will contribute to the strategy and implementation of cutting-edge digital, social, and business analytics, ensuring that social intelligence and consumer signals are seamlessly brought into decision-making.
Beyond building digital engagement capabilities, you will act as a catalyst for Insights Transformation, championing the use of AI, advanced analytics, and breakthrough technologies to reimagine the way our Insights function operates. This means not only delivering sharper, faster, and more predictive insights but also enabling cultural and capability shifts across the CMI community.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Build & Deploy Tools & Capabilities: Coordinate the development and rollout of digital products, services, and platforms that empower frontline CMI teams to access social insights more seamlessly, work more efficiently, and drive stronger consumer offerings. Enable Data-led Decisions: Drive the adoption of new tools, analytics approaches, and data integration methods that elevate how consumer signals are captured, analyzed, and translated into growth-driving action. Embed AI & Automation: Lead the integration of Gen AI, automation, and advanced analytics into CMI workflows to accelerate insight generation, improve quality, and unlock capacity for deeper, more creative problem-solving. Drive Business Impact: Partner with Marketing, R&D, CTI/CMI expertise teams, agencies, and external stakeholders to ensure that insights transformation delivers tangible outcomes in brand strategy, innovation pipelines, communication, and performance management. Lead Change & Upskilling: Act as a change agent, championing new ways of working, driving digital fluency across teams, and embedding future-fit capabilities to ensure the CMI function stays ahead in a rapidly evolving digital ecosystem.

EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS
Digital & Business Data Proficiency: Ability to confidently collect, analyze, and visualize diverse data sources to create compelling stories. You can also work effectively with large consumer datasets from digital and business sources.
Creativity & Experimentation: Having a founder mentality and bias for action to solve real human needs and add value. You can deliver unique, people-centric solutions that address unmet needs in innovative ways.
Strategic Thinking/ Problem Solving: Understanding how to analyse different factors or variables widely and objectively, looking for vulnerabilities and opportunities and then defining these in a systematic way that helps to actualise a competitive advantage.
Pioneer – in how to grow brands using different & innovative approaches.
Drive & resilience: Strong drive to generate new initiatives and see them through to action.
Interdependence: Collaborate effectively with internal, cross-functional and external colleagues to develop high impact initiatives.
Digital tools: Experience with digital analytical tools (e.g. Google Analytics, FB Audience Insights, Google Trends, Search).
You have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Marketing and/ or in Market Research.
You have good understanding of quantitative and qualitative primary research methods and good knowledge of communication insights research and /or media insights. You have experience teaching or facilitating knowledge sharing. You are excited by new technology.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
As publicly announced, Unilever will separate its Ice Cream business which is expected by the end of 2025. This role will transfer to the new Ice Cream company.
