Ice Cream is currently hiring for Financial Controlling Junior Manager

The Ice Cream business is operating in a highly attractive category, as we are part of the 1 trillion snacking and refreshment industry, growing consistently at high pace. We have strong brands equities: 5 of top 10 selling brands including Algida, Magnum, Ben &Jerry’s. We are investing to unlock the full growth potential of Ice Cream as a standalone entity, once we separate from Unilever, which is planned to happen by November 2025.

JOB PURPOSE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Controlling team plays critical role in the organization. They are responsible for accounting, reporting, risk management and controls. The scope of the role is Hungary (Romania, Greece and Hungary for the Risk compliance activities). Specifically person on that role is responsible  for:

• Prepare local statutory and statistical reporting for IC Hungary
• Perform local treasury activities for IC Hungary
• Support to R2R activities for IC Hungary
• Pro-actively mobilize the risk management agenda, ensuring high quality risk assessments are conducted & risks are appropriately managed.
• Oversee adherence to Global Financial Controls Framework.
• Ensure the Control Health Indicators are managed and improving in line with the targets.
• Engage with non-Finance teams to drive focus on operational controls.
• Understand root causes of issues & poor performance, identify where controls are not operating and drive remediation through relevant business leaders.
• Act as Business Information Security Officer.
• Ensure Business Continuity and Disaster Plans are in place.
• Ensure compliance with Global and Local Policies.
• Coordinating/participating in new initiatives from GCAD resulting from new guidance or other requirements including new Control Frameworks implementation.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

• Qualified Chartered Accountant or other relevant professional qualification with 3 years post qualification experience
• Experience and knowledge in the field of financial reporting and risk management
• Experience in advisory or audit for a Big Four. (can be a plus)
• Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze, interpret and communicate data.
• Strong written, and verbal communication and influencing skills.
• Good interpersonal skills to build rapport with various stakeholders.
• Experience and awareness of working in multicultural and multilocation teams.
• Familiarity with risk management software, data analytics tools and reporting platforms.
• Ability to explain complex risk concepts in simple terms to non-technical audiences.
• Flexibility to handle rapidly changing environments and new challenges.

This role can be filled from our Budapest Head Office or from Veszprém Ice Cream Factory, depending on Candidate’s residence. Benefit package may vary by entity.
