JOB PURPOSE

Unilever is the place where you can bring your purpose to life with the work that you do – creating a better business and a better world. This role manages the Master Production Schedule & Material Requirement Planning for the Home Care Category to achieve the required Service Levels, with optimum level of stocks and business waste.   

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

• Develop and execute supply plans to ensure that products are available to meet customer demand while avoiding stockouts and minimizing excess inventory.

• Collaborate with demand planning and sales teams to understand customer demand forecasts and align supply plans accordingly.

• Monitor and manage inventory levels to balance supply and demand, optimizing inventory turns and minimizing cash.

• Issuing production schedules based on demand forecasts, production capacity, and lead times to ensure timely product availability.

• Work with procurement teams to ensure the timely sourcing of raw materials, packaging materials needed for production.

• Maintain effective communication with suppliers to manage lead times, address potential shortages, and ensure timely deliveries.

• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply planning, such as on-time delivery, inventory turnover, and production efficiency.

• Identify and manage potential supply chain risks, such as supplier disruptions or production delays, and develop mitigation strategies.

• Identify and manage business waste and ensure waste mitigation plans to achieve zero waste with optimized service and inventory levels.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences & Qualifications

• Bachelors/Masters Degree in Business or Engineering  

• 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain or Manufacturing
  

Skills

• Proven capability in inventory management 

• Ability to effectively manage production scheduling 

• Skilled at material resource planning 

• Able to execute effective capacity planning

• Skilled in SAP and Microsoft Excel

• Able to resolve conflicts effectively

• Ability to work with cross functional teams 

• Excellent at communication

• Ability to negotiate in complex circumstances
