BUSINESS CONTEXT AND MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Manufacturing Excellence Executive has overall responsibility for:
Factory Programs and Standards
Coordination and Planning: Works with the Site ManEx Manager to define needs and implement the TPM program.
Execution and Review: Leads ManEx activities and regularly reviews the masterplan.
Recognition and Support: Develops TPM promotion systems and supports shopfloor activities, including technical training.
Factory Performance Delivery
Performance Standards: Establishes standards for productivity, quality, cost, delivery, safety, and morale.
Reporting and Analysis: Submits monthly performance reports based on KPIs and drives cost reduction targets.
Continuous Improvement: Leads loss elimination programs, facilitates Kaizen meetings, and mentors teams on improvement tools.
Production Cost Governance
Budget Coordination: Works with SC Finance to prepare the site’s annual cost budget and translates it into monthly KPIs.
Monitoring and Action Plans: Monitors KPIs, analyzes performance, and proposes action plans if targets are missed.
Review and Recommendations: Leads monthly reviews of production cost performance and recommends actions to close gaps.
KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
You need to have:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical background, with experience in either six sigma or lean manufacturing.
Preferably working 4-5 years in Manufacturing.
Knows how to analyze the system and make recommendations for improvement.
Ability to prepare accurate technical reports and communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
Understanding of Manufacturing Financials and P&L.
It is important for the individual to be highly motivated and pro-active.
Ability to lead and influence teams.
Energetic, innovative, or dynamic talent.
Can collaborate well with multiple teams to drive efficiency and savings.
Logical and structured thinking, with analytical skills, and detail- oriented.
Strategic influencing and procurement skills to reduce indirect cost.
