Job Purpose:

Enable the Beauty & Wellbeing Vietnam business to be successful, by delivering outstanding service, supporting growth. As a planning manager you will master of E2E planning process area and orchestrator of the S&OP Process for Skincare category. You will become a business partner for Skincare and B&W Leadership Team where you will represent SC area. You will be closed business partner for our CSP/Marketing/Customer Business Development colleagues, but you will also stay close with our Genpact partners supporting them in BU business requirements. As a SC partner you will also represent Skincare SC area externally to our customers via E2E collaborations. Your main areas of interest will include:

  • Accurate Forecasting: Developing effective forecast models based on industry trends, historical data, and demand patterns to predict future customer demand
  • Inventory Management: Ensuring optimal inventory levels to meet customer needs while minimizing excess stock and reducing costs
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working closely with sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain teams to align demand forecasts with business goals and ensure seamless operations
  • Performance Monitoring: Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) related to demand planning and making necessary adjustments to improve accuracy and efficiency
  • Process Improvement: Continuously identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the demand planning function
  • Leading improvement agenda: In collaboration with Customer Operations leadership team and Genpact

What will you Main Responsibilities be?

  • S&OP process orchestrator for Skincare category. Support the country category and Business Unit (BU) discussions with deep understanding of the market demand drivers. Leading Demand Review meetings. Gather business insights, assumptions, risks & opportunities, and help translating them into demand drivers for auto-forecast modelling
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by delivering Dispatch Rate, Service Level and support business growth through innovations and other change projects
  • Own the short-term and long-term forecast, and continuously improve the quality of the forecast
  • Reassure quality of the demand and supply reconciliation long-term and mid-term, consequently, has the team to collaborate with business team to define the constrained plan plus risk mitigation plans and as well collaborates with category planning to unlock supply constraints
  • Contribute to inventory management by proactively managing influx of unhealthy stock on tail SKUs and driving sell out of unhealthy stock
  • Reassure a good quality collaboration with local and regional P&I leads to plan innovation phasing, proactively reassuring responsiveness with optimal stock & minimized obsoletes
  • Lead Relaunch discussions with Sales and Customer Service to reassure minimum obsoletes after launch, whilst balancing service to customers
  • Lead the annual Business Plan process and translate the year plan initiatives into a business plan for the next year
  • Drive continuous improvement for Dispatch Rate, Forecast Accuracy, Forecast Bias, Inventory, Business Waste and Excess Stock
  • Collaborate within Business Unit to drive efficiency in portfolio management activities. Be the guardian of complexity reduction process with SC and commercial partners (i.e. Polaris)
  • Drive digital transformation agenda deployment driving zero-touch S&OP process, Kinasix, cMRP to enhance operational effectiveness
  • Lead Skincare team performance and responsible for coaching and developing key talents

Experiences and Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years proven experience in Planning / Supply Chain area, ideally in both demand & supply planning roles. FMCG experience preferred
  • Education in the field of economics, finance, supply chain management, business management preferred
  • Proven S&OP process experience in complex organizations. High level of process ownership
  • Leadership and influencing skills. Good understanding of business and willingness to propose and co-create solutions and recommendations. Proactive and hands-on approach
  • Strong creative and problem-solving skills paired with strong presentation and storytelling skills
  • Ability to effectively switch between strategic thinking and short-term execution
  • Team player. Must have ability to work in cross functional teams, including remote teams, to achieve common goals
  • Project & change management skills
  • Adaptivity, responsiveness and flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment with dynamic business and industry challenges
  • Digital savvy and data driven decision maker
  • Good technical skills. Experience in Excel / SAP / Kinaxis Rapid Response / Power BI
  • Native Vietnamese, Fluent English
