- International Business Expansion and new business is a Gallo business unit responsible to develop Gallo worldwide. Gallo is present in over 30 Countries. The objective is to deliver sustainable growth in selected markets that support the ambition to double the business in 3 to 5 years.
- The focus of Business Expansion is to grow the current business; for that it is key a deep understanding of markets/customer dynamics: customer’s background, ways of working, kip’s, creating strong and trustful partnerships. It is also important to understand the export diligence of each market, its lead-times, legal constraints, specified requirements to be able to implement the adequate commercial approach.
- An important part of the job is also to support the identification of new potential customers, making the necessary assessment/audit to lead the definition of the adequate business model and partners – being capable to adapt and propose a customize approach to each market/customer and identify growth opportunities to develop Gallo IBU, jointly with the marketing team.
- Mexico is the market in scope. Gallo was present in Wallmart from 2015 until 2022 but not in a continuous way. The objective is firstly identifying the compliant RTM for Gallo re-entrance in México with sustainable business model, prepare and approach identified customers and manage the daily business afterwords.
Additionally supporting the marketing team to identify creative agencies for Gallo to work with and bridging local agencies and Mkt team

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
- Identify key customers to be approached defining a proper RTM: olive oil and beyond
- Prepare and conduct customer’s approach for Gallo re-entrance in México
- Be the contact person for current Gallo customers in México
- identify market best practices (POS, SM, etc ) that might be incorporated in Gallo’s plans
- Assess potential agencies (Mkt and trade marketing) and be the key contact
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Experiences & Qualifications
- 2–3 years of sales experience in the FMCG sector; additional background in customer marketing is a strong asset
- Multilingual proficiency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese is highly desirable
- Willingness and availability to travel as required
