Background & Purpose of the Job:
You will be a key player in ensuring the seamless and efficient procurement of raw materials to support the production of delicious frozen treats. This role is crucial for optimizing inventory levels, addressing supplier-related issues, and collaborating with various teams to drive operational excellence. You will be at the forefront of implementing cost-saving initiatives and ensuring service excellence while maintaining a resilient and continuous supply chain.
Who You Are & What You'll Do: You are a dynamic individual with astute problem-solving skills and a minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or related roles. Your strong understanding of procurement operations, supply chain processes, and material planning will be instrumental in collaborating with demand and material planning teams for accurate forecasting. You will:
Act as the primary liaison for demand and material planning, optimizing inventory levels.
Manage supplier-related issues, fostering strong relationships, and monitoring Supplier KPIs.
Collaborate with manufacturing plants to understand production needs and implement procurement strategies.
Serve as a liaison between procurement and the Quality function, ensuring alignment on quality standards.
Support implementation of cost-saving initiatives, track their impact, and share insights with cross-functional teams.
Utilize data analysis to evaluate and optimize procurement processes, translating insights into actionable recommendations.
Collaborate with suppliers to maintainhigh levels of service excellence and address service-related issues promptly.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the supply chain, identifying potential risks and disruptions.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, finance, or a related field.
Required Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or related roles.
Required Skills:
Strong understanding of procurement operations, supply chain processes, and material planning.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
Proven ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
Strong project management skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in the consumer goods or food industry.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant tools.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
System Knowledge: Buyers Console, Veeva, SAP, Material forecast.
Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams

Pay: The pay range for this position is $84,400 to $126,600. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
