North America, our largest region and heartland of Dove, represents a significant business, equally divided across Dove Bar and Dove Body Wash. This region is crucial to our success, and we have ambitious growth plans to expand our market share and penetration, premiumize the portfolio, be a leading brand in culture and future fitting the brand.
This role is part of the Personal Care CMI team, leading CMI for innovation, engagement, equity and brand design for the Dove Skin Cleansing brand in North America.
Role and Responsibilities
The Dove CMI Skin Cleansing Associate Director partners with the Dove innovation and engagement team based in the US, closely supporting the Dove Core and Premium Directors and their teams.
Lead insights to drive short- and long-term strategies that help Dove achieve business goals and contribute to the brand’s ambitious growth plan
Own analysis and understanding of growing Dove’s brand equity and how it can lead to competitive growth
Play an integral role in the development of innovations and communications, including ensuing the core business is future fit for continued growth
Inspire development of the long-term innovation roadmap for Dove Skin Cleansing in North America, including seeking out pockets of growth based on NA-specific insights
Lead development of category growth drivers for North America and ensuring innovation plans align with the future of the category
Work closely with the rest of PC CMI and both design and deploy Marketing to create the social transformation for Dove Skin Cleansing in North America
Drive greater consumer connectivity and ‘deep, rich, emotional’ insights work to inspire stronger consumer engagement through innovation and marketing activities
Bring leading edge UBS thinking, analysis and actions to marketing teams to unlock consistent competitive growth
Lead engaging programs that build the “consumer gut” of marketing teams
Bring expertise and best practice to enable unmissable communication development
Develop strong relationships across design marketing, R&D, CTI, creative agency, MMC, deploy/engagement marketing and performance in order to truly put the consumer voice at the heart of everything Dove does

You have passion for Dove and its purpose
You are fully operational to leading edge in all facets of consumer and market insights work both qual and quant, primary, syndicated, including agile innovation, digital marketing and media (i.e. brand strategy development, positioning/equity, innovation development, engagement)
Requirements:
12+ years of experience in CMI/consumer research including in the US.
Proven track record of using consumer insights to drive measurable action on the business
High levels of strategic influencing with leadership and senior stakeholders
Strong People Leader - direct and indirect reporting/ line manager
Effective storyteller and dot connector
Pay: The pay range for this position is $141,680 to $212,520. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
