JOB PURPOSE:

The Ice Cream Americas FP&A Associate Director works with the Americas General Manager and CFO to drive value through a range of levers including the leadership of the Business Unit financial performance rhythm to maximise Profitable Growth.

This role is based in Englewood Cliffs - US, reports to the Americas FP&A Director and is a key member of the BU Finance Team.

The role offers a great opportunity for the successful candidate to develop a regional network, build experience in Performance Management and Ice Cream expertise.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Leading the monthly financial forecasting process.
• Working closely with the Country CFO’s and Business Group, to support the overall performance management agenda.
• Responsible for the Target Setting process and driving dynamic Resource Allocation (DRA) to maximise financial outcome in the BU.
• Reporting actuals and forecast to the Business Group and to Americas Leadership Team.
• Prepare and present key financial insights and analysis to senior management for key interventions.
• Influence decision making by analysing internal and external trends.
• Driving and shaping business performance.
• Driving actions on performance interventions if needed, in any P&L line.

• Proven track record of being effective in a complex operating environment and driving business performance.
• Ability to hold others, and self-accountable.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Ability to build networks and manage senior stakeholders.
• Strong modelling and strong analytical skills.

EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS:    

• Performance management experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in financial reporting tools and software.
• Strong modelling and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and delivering accurate numbers.

As publicly announced, Unilever will separate its Ice Cream business which is expected by the end of 2025. This role will transfer to the new Ice Cream company.
