Background & Purpose of the Job

Customer Strategy and Planning (CS&P)combines strategic planning alongside operational excellence between the Customer Business Development and the Business Unit marketing teams; ensuring delivery of the Business Unit’s critical KPIs.The CS&P Net Revenue Management (NRM) Manager roleis responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and making recommendations across the NRM Levers to support the Business Unit (BU)Strategy Growth Framework and Commercial Strategy, by: 

Accelerating the NRM thinking across the Nutrition Business Unit to

Accelerate business growth by truly embedding NRM thinking into the organization

Drive continued & tangible impact in our P&L

Accelerate capabilities development

Helps crafting necessary work to define growth roadmap, core Pack&Price Architecture (PPA).  

Elevating NRM KPIS and Rhythm into the BU Performance Management agenda & Customer Business Development teams to land consistent execution.  

The candidate will work with BU LT to drive the NRM institutionalization model that covers performance management agenda, KPIs, targets, WoW, NRM funnel management and integration of NRM in key Nutrition processes like IBP, Innovations, JBPs or Customer performance reviews

In addition, the NRM manager will also be responsible fordriving momentum behind building capability agenda through specific programs that providethe right learning opportunities, in a tangible way and connecting theory with practice, while leveragingkey available tools.

Who You Are & What You’ll Do

The successful candidate will drive the NRM agenda for US BU by:

  • Developing 3 years occasions led PPA (destination portfolio)that feeds into 12Q growth planning for the Business Unit, as well as clear direction into renovation plan needs for key categories

  • Validating Category SPI guidance & destination for key Brands, along with SPI compliance & focus needed

  • Customer centric PPAs & efficient promotional strategies

  • NRM funnel management and reporting

  • Upskilling Nutrition Business Unit on top notch NRM capabilities, through specific/tailored programs (marketing, finance and CBD)

  • Simplifying and applying the NRM language in the business to improve understanding, adoption and impact

  • Accelerate NRM WoW into the US Nutrition Business Unit with key actions & expectations across all stakeholders (mkt, finance, CBD) in all key business cycle touchpoints

Performance KPI’s:

Net Revenue Realization (NRR) (Underlying Price Growth + Turn Over MIX) and Volume%

Strategic Price Index/ Average Price Index; Customer Trade investment & Trade Spend Drift

%GM / Underlying Operating Margin (UOM)(Fuel for growth: NRM iTO & iGP impact)

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • This role sits at the center of the Unit operations and therefore the person must thrive in dynamic, cross functional environments.

  • They will interact with and show an ability to influence stakeholders including; Business Unit General Manager, Customer Business Development CountryHead, Market CS&P, Finance Head.

  • You should have an Innovation mindset and strong NRM knowledge

  • Experience with Commercial channels execution and digital business models

  • Commercial Strategy and Business Acumen

  • Customer and Retailer Understanding

  • Strong analytical and data skillset – ability to ask the right questions and curious enough to find the answer

  • You will be prepared to build the new CSP organization with us as we transition into the new organization and be agile in your scope and approach

  • Prior experience in Customer Development or Finance

Pay: The pay range for this position is $98,300 to $147,500. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
