JOB PURPOSE
The primary purpose of the Senior Customer Business Manager (CBM) position is to develop sustained business relationships and driving mutual profitable with C&S for BPC categories. The Senior CBM will exceed (profitable) volume and share goals while improving return on holistic customer investment, in line with joint business plan targets and customer and brand strategies. They optimize product distribution, pricing and promotions to drive profitable growth for Unilever and C&S. It is imperative that they have a working knowledge of the consumer cross functions.
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
The Senior CBM is responsible for improving in-store and online presence by leading brilliant execution across the extended team of Shopper Marketing, Category Management, Customer Marketing, Retail Coverage, Customer Finance, Business Development and Supply Chain.
The Senior CBM is responsible for building a joint business plan with C&S that will grow the respective category by achieving volume goals while delivering investment on plan.
Develop and strengthen strong relationships with the customer through touch bases, collaboration, and business plans
- Act as the primary liaison on all category business issues both internal and external. Work closely with Unilever teams including Channel & Category Development, Business Development, Marketing, Shopper Marketing, Category Management, Supply Chain, Direct Retail Team.
- Lead Annual Planning efforts, including negotiating and executing Joint Business Plans
- Drive trade investment effectiveness and efficiency
- Develop corporate marketing and merchandising programs
- Champion and drive strategic selling initiatives for Unilever with C&S
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
Experiences & Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree is required
- 7+ years’ Customer Business Manager experience required (Regional Sales Manager or Wholesaler experience preferred)
- Trade Marketing and Category Management experience is a plus.
- Working knowledge of omni-channel capabilities and eCommerce capabilities.
Pay: The pay range for this position is $115,680 to $173,520. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
