GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:
Inside the walls of the Ben & Jerry’s factory in Hellendoorn, around 140 employees produce the most delicious ice cream in Europe. From Hellendoorn, the shorties (100 ml), multipacks, pints (465 ml), and 4.5-liter tubs make their way to approximately 23 countries across Europe and beyond. Nearly all Ben & Jerry’s ice cream sold in the European market is produced in Hellendoorn.

We are currently looking for a Team Leader Planning for this fantastic factory.
THE DEPARTMENT:
The Planning department at the Ben & Jerry’s factory in Hellendoorn is a crucial part of the Supply Chain. It is responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of products to our customers (the Unilever Marketing Sales Organizations), optimal production scheduling, planning and timely arrival of raw materials and packaging, and monitoring of finished goods, raw materials, and packaging inventories.
As a Team Leader (day shift), you will manage the department, leading a team of 3–5 employees. You will also be responsible for developing and executing planning policies aligned with the factory’s objectives. As a Team Leader, you will be part of the leadership team that defines the long-term goals for the factory.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead, coach, motivate, and develop your team of Supply and Material Planners (3–5 employees).
Define and implement departmental policies aligned with the factory’s objectives.
Participate in the Management Team (MT) and Leadership Team (LT), providing input from your area of expertise and helping shape long-term factory goals.
Lead or participate in cross-functional meetings and (European) projects, including the implementation of European planning initiatives in Hellendoorn.
Provide input for and make strategic decisions for the factory (e.g., shift models, projects)
Maintain contact with Procurement and suppliers regarding delivery issues, flexibility, long-term forecasts, and capacity.
Participate in the Ben & Jerry’s PTM, contributing from a planning perspective.
Prepare and deliver presentations with relevant information about Ben & Jerry’s and Planning.
Maintain close contact with the Category Planning Manager and Category Director.
Achieve departmental targets (Dispatch Rate, (Blocked) Stocks, DBNR, OE/run strategy, slow movers, departmental budget).
Ensure effective communication within and outside the department.
SOCIAL MISSION:

KEY REQUIREMENTS:
A relevant completed Bachelor’s degree (HBO level) or higher.
Min 5 years of experience in Supply Chain or Planning.
Energetic, communicative, collaborative, analytically strong, and stress-resistant.
Knowledge of SAP & APO.
Extensive experience with Excel.
Strong problem-solving, decision-making, planning, and organizational skills.
Clear understanding of the supply chain process and current planning developments.
Experience in the ice cream/food industry is a plus.
Experience in independently leading improvement projects.
