JOB PURPOSE

This role sits at the heart of LATAM Home Care performance—connecting Manufacturing, Engineering, R&D, Supply Chain, Procurement, Marketing, Customer, and Global Quality to drive the right decisions at the right time. It offers a unique platform to influence strategy and execution end-to-end, turn data into action, and build a legacy through transformation: strengthening today’s powder excellence while shaping Indaiatuba’s next chapter with Appius, accelerating innovation safely, and elevating Quality as a competitive advantage across the region.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

  • Responsible for Quality management across Home Care operations in Brazil and Argentina, ensuring product and process excellence across the region (factory-to-market).
  • Home Care Quality Manager accountable for the main HC plants in scope, including:
  • Indaiatuba (largest detergent factory in the world) and Gualeguaychú (Argentina).
  • Based in Indaiatuba, leading Quality through a major site transformation from powders to liquids via Project Appius, ensuring Quality-by-Design, robust risk mitigation and flawless execution from commissioning to steady-state operations.
  • Strategic and technical leadership for LATAM Quality, including:
  • Lead the LATAM Quality team (coordinators and specialists), building capability, routines, and a strong Quality culture.
  • Own LATAM Quality KPIs and OKRs: define targets, governance, cadence, and performance tracking for key cells/SKUs aligned locally and globally.
  • Drive performance reviews with regional Heads and plant leaders, ensuring transparency, accountability, prioritization, and sustained results.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and strong QMS execution; lead internal/external audit readiness and closure of critical/major gaps.
  • Lead incident management and end-to-end problem solving (deviations/exceptions, RCA, CAPA), ensuring effectiveness and recurrence prevention.
  • Drive reduction of Quality losses and top chronic issues (e.g., leakage, codification, suppliers), translating data into prioritized action plans.
  • Accelerate digital transformation for Quality (SPC, AI, automations, analytics, and SAP-integrated platforms) to strengthen prevention and decision-making.
  • Deploy and sustain global programs/standards (PQS, UMS, BRC), adapting to LATAM operational reality.
  • Lead supplier development and performance improvement for critical materials; strengthen supplier governance and risk controls.
  • Sponsor Hygienic Design initiatives and contamination prevention programs in plants and projects.
  • Support innovation pipelines (risk mapping, TRA/LMP robustness, Quality-by-Design and design reviews), ensuring timely and safe launches.
  • Manage Quality budget, CAPEX prioritization and investment cases aligned to risk reduction, compliance and performance improvement.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degreed completed, preferrably Engineering or Chemistry
  • Advanced English, Portuguese and Spanish.
  • Solid background in Quality.
  • Knowledge of BRC will be a differentiator.
  • Preferably with experience in liquids
