WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

We are looking for Assistant Quality Manager who will be responsible for Besan Foods Factory of all Quality metrics, delivering Production-Innovation quality and executing of Global Quality program.

  • Building and ensuring SU compliance with all local regulations as well as Unilever requirements related to consumer safety and product quality.
  • Ensuring Unilever and applicable external standards and requirements are accurately represented in local procedures and work instructions. Developing the controls in line with the specifications and transfer the parameters to operations.
  • Checking and measuring the quality parameters within the Unilever framework and legal requirements as well as providing insights from measurements: CRQS, Semi Finished Good Analysis Results, Finished Good Analysis Results, Non-Compliant Goods, waste, BOM content control, Consumer/Customer complaints, Raw Material returns and ingredient information, Packaging Material returns and ingredient information etc.
  • Reviewing site quality KPIs and analyzing Quality Performance compared to established quality goals.
  • Providing the traceability of products containing the details aligned with UL and regulatory requirements.
  • Tracking the quality improvement areas by using correct prioritization tools like Q-matrix and leading the projects via close collaboration with production and engineering teams.  Also ensuring that site specific quality targets and projects are implemented on shop floor via quality concepts and methodology.
  • Ensuring the development and implementation of pre-requisite programs required to support site HACCP plan including validation and ongoing verification requirements to mitigate consumer safety risks. (e.g. pest controls, allergen management, hygienic controls, etc.)
  • Ensuring the ongoing compliance to requirements of category / technology GMP that are applicable to the site and organizing the internal UQP audits and tracking the actions.
  • Supporting the quality incident management with related stakeholders; doing detailed root cause analysis and tracking the actions etc.
  • Managing the quality shop floor employees as first line manager also tracking the ‘Time Management’ portal.
  • Leading customer and consumer complaints, providing responses, and determining corrective and/or preventative actions.
  • Following up the digital quality applications and traceability; proceeding process control plan across the plant.
  • Keeping track of main warehouse blocking transactions: Quality block / release process.
  • Determining the capability needs of related operators/ employees and planning the training agenda. Identifying the areas where human error happens and analyze root causes of the errors across the factory, establish proper control to eliminate them.
  • Providing the site quality support and active participation to innovation, renovation projects by integrating quality tools in the process and ensuring the compliance to quality requirements.
  • Participating in global quality meetings and ensuring global cascades are fully in place for the SU.
  • Preparing Inter-Company Quality Agreements and ensuring site Quality Input is given for Export Operations.
  • Supporting CM Quality in collective quality tasks such as GMP compliance, hygiene & allergen practises and external audit management.
  • Being an active member of Quality community in every possible platform to contribute business results with a solid Quality mindset.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences & Qualifications

  • University degree in science or engineering fields, preferably food engineering
  • Min to 3 years experience in Quality, Manufacturing and related SC functions will be an asset
  • Good command of written and spoken English (Able to follow up foreign resources)
  • Good knowledge of MS Office Applications
  • No travel restrictions

  • Knowledge about Quality Management, Allergen Management, Incident Management, Hygiene Management, Root Cause Analysis, Incident Management, Auditing, Food Safety & HACCP.
