As ice cream company we want to create happier moments within the communities where we operate. However, it is not as simple as it may seem. We continually innovate to bring ice creams that excite. As the largest ice cream company in the world, we have over 100 years of experience in spreading joy and happiness.

You might have noticed our heart-shaped logo. It’s in every high street around the world, a sign that says ‘here there’s joy!’. And you can find our logo on so many of the world’s favourite ice creams, including Magnum, Cornetto, Solero, Viennetta and Carte d’Or.

Our products are sold in more than 40 countries around the world, under different local names. Unilever’s ice cream brands delivered turnover of €7.9 billion in 2023, or about 13% of the company’s total sales. The business has five of the top 10 selling global ice cream brands including Wall’s, Magnum and Ben & Jerry’s, with exposure in both the in-home and out-of-home segments across a global footprint.

Turkey Ice cream business hits 350m€ in 2023 with 30% USG and 5% UVG. Its 7th biggest ice cream country in the world. Impulse and Multipack categories drive 258m€ turnover; whereas 92m€ comes from In Home and Food Service categories.

Turkey Food Service is the most profitable FS business across markets with 26 M€ turnover and with 55.1% profitability. Turkey Dcommerce Business is the 4th largest market across global with 27M€ where IC with Meal business makes 21% of it, 2nd largest business across global.

JOB PURPOSE

We are looking for an outstanding candidate to make Food Service a growth engine via transforming FS into e2e Onpremise channel through Restaurant Channel focus, cut-through With Meal Communication Strategy and seamless operation in RTM.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

  • Develop annual channel  and brand strategy & plans in full synergy with the mid and long-term plan
  • Full Responsibility of P&L Food Service drive volume growth while keeping profitability improvement
  • Keep competitive growth in FOH and with, improve penetration and frequency in Restaurants online and offline.
  • Rigorously lead the communication agenda with meaningful, impactful and disruptive communications for the channel
  • Craft Ice Cream with Meal communication strategy and collaborate with DMC and FS Sales team to lead with meal communication plan
  • Driving the right consumer and customer understanding research on time in full through working closely with the CMI
  • Design innovation roadmap of the brands and drive channel for growth agenda.
  • Orchestrate the cross functional teams and key stakeholders including CBD, CSP, R&D, Procurement, DP, SP, DMC, Finance
  • Create and deploy the customer and channel strategy
  • Own BMI budget and drive the right choices to maximize return on investment
  • Ensure the development of the direct reports through empowerment and teamwork.

Experiences & Qualifications& Skills

  • Experience year: +8-12 years
  • Relevant experience year as Brand Marketing and Sales Manager
  • Strong project management skills (concrete evidence of successful & complex projects)
  • Strong understanding and experience on communication development, digital tools & landscape
  • Strong business acumen
  • Drive for leading transformation agenda
  • Solid environmental radar & competitive understanding
  • Developed influencing skills and drive the category agenda on local teams
