JOB PURPOSE:
As the Technology & Data Manager/Lead for Turkey, you will be responsible for leading the local IT strategy and operations in alignment with regional and global business goals. You will act as the primary technology partner to the country leadership team, ensuring that IT delivers measurable value to the business. A key focus of this role is strong business engagement, enabling digital transformation and innovation across commercial, supply chain, and support functions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Leadership:
• Develop and execute the country’s IT roadmap in alignment with regional and
global strategies.
• Representing IT in the local leadership team and influence business
decisions through technology insights.
Business Engagement:
• Act as the single point of contact for all IT-related matters in the country.
• Build strong relationships with business stakeholders to understand needs,
identify opportunities, and deliver impactful solutions.
• Drive adoption of digital tools and data-driven decision-making.
IT Operations & Service Delivery:
• Ensure reliable, secure, and cost-effective IT operations across all sites.
• Oversee local infrastructure, applications, and end-user support.
• Manage vendor relationships and service level agreements.
People & Budget Management:
• Lead and develop the local vendors or IT contractors.
• Manage the country’s IT budget and ensure financial discipline.
Compliance & Risk Management:
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, data privacy regulations, and
cybersecurity standards.
• Proactively manage IT risks and business continuity planning.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or
related field.
• 10+ years of progressive IT experience, preferably in FMCG or a similar fast-paced
industry. 5+ years of IT leadership experience.
• Proven track record in business partnering and stakeholder management.
• Strong understanding of enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, analytics platforms).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and change management skills.
• Fluent in English; and local language.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
As publicly announced, Unilever will separate its Ice Cream business which is expected by the end of 2025. This role will transfer to the new Ice Cream company.
