JOB PURPOSE
With a €33 billion spend across a diverse portfolio including food and ingredients, packaging, commodities and marketing and business services, our work touches every part of the business, putting us in a unique position to make a positive impact on people and planet.
We are rethinking the way in which we can transform procurement from a cost centre to a profit center with out of box ideas and execution.
The role will be part of the squad team supported by Unilever Procurement Leaders who will be focused on the strategy creation and execution of this transformation across the Unilever portfolio.
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
- Leadership: Lead the Procurement Light House Strategy 2030 Squad: Procurement as a Profit Center
- 3 large pillars to develop: Explore, drive, execute various opportunities to unlock additional value:
- Pillar 1: Aggregate: Joint Buying capabilities with various partners to aggregate the spend pools for higher impact with suppliers
- Pillar 2: Trade: Building on our current contracts and supplier network to profit from external trades
- Pillar 3: Make: Using our own assets such as UOI to cater to external markets
- Leverage Expertise Network: Own the program and the initiatives under this. Work closely with external partners and consultants to design the working principles for this lighthouse pillar.
- New Design: Create a trading house for Unilever Procurement to enable external sales of key materials where this is an advantage to do so. Determine the key criteria and products where this can be extended.
- Program management: create implementation plans, track project progress, unlock bottlenecks, report benefits
- Communication: Communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Capability building: Creating Training Plans and Modules to expand the capability across Unilever.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
Experiences & Qualifications
- Either a bachelor’s degree with at least 6 years’ experience in Procurement / Supply Chain Management / consultancy
- Or a master’s degree with specialization in Economics / Procurement / Supply Chain with at least 4 years' experience in Procurement / Supply Chain Management / consultancy
- Relevant Experience in in shaping and leading transformational business process reengineering and driving Change Management initiatives will be added advantage

- Experience in shaping and leading transformational business process reengineering with experience driving Change Management initiatives.
