JOB PURPOSE:

You will lead innovations, big and small, that will make our business win and grow. You will learn from brilliant business leaders and colleagues in a truly global and diverse culture to ultimately become a better you. As Konya HR Manager, you would make significant contribution to our future factory growth plans and related people agenda for SC employees.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Be part of developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall IC people strategy, Factory Master Plan and Factory People Plan for Konya.
  • Help to manage Union relations and execute seamless action plans respecting our newly signed Collective Work Agreement.
  • Lead preparing and proactively follow workforce plan, head count budget, Factory people budget, partnering with Factory Leadership and Finance teams in preparation, monitoring, coordination and reporting of People FTE numbers and overheads on a quarterly basis.
  • Supervise Factory HR team and provide HR consultation to Factory Leaders, Office and Shop-Floor Employees on a range of topics, including talent acquisition, talent management, career development, upskilling our people, putting performance culture in place, and making sure our workplace is a happy and engaging one.
  • Drive Factory Attractiveness Project agenda across the functions, with specific support to the Functional LTs on attracting, developing, retaining talent, building a strong internal and external pipeline and succession planning in close partnership with the T&O teams and Talent Partners.
  • Leading the labour budget and time management of shop floor employees aligned with the central payroll teams.
  • Act as a change agent to drive organizational culture and facilitate employee engagement initiatives.
  • Collaboration with the business for creating a high-performance culture.
  • Acting as HR contact for the Factory Leadership Team and employees.
  • Managing factory HR & Admin Team while developing skills of team members
  • Contributing Supply Chain HR function projects.
  • Managing training, performance, career management and development plans for White Collar employees.
  • Managing relations and daily operations with Labor Union Representatives.
  • Managing manpower planning, productivity, talent & performance management, recruitment and training processes for Blue Collar employees.
  • Preparation and follow up WFP, budget preparation, monitoring, coordination and reporting of HR Planning for the factory.

SKILLS:

EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Min 5 years of relevant experience in HR, industrial/factory experience is a must and passion for growth and development is half of the way.
  • Fluency in English & Turkish both written and verbal.
  • Experience in Employee Relations and handling Collective Work Agreement is preferred.
  • Change Agent, that lead for change in every aspect of the factory.
  • Business acumen and organizational awareness.
  • Hunger to live the ‘Ice Cream Way’, ready to fall in love with Algida culture, and distil the right leadership behaviors and ways of working throughout the organization.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

As publicly announced, Unilever will separate its Ice Cream business which is expected by the end of 2025. This role will transfer to the new Ice Cream company.
