As we embark on GAP 2030 plan, the business analyst team will have accountability of driving analytics and insights. We would be accountable for impact of solutions, maintaining market relevance and driving customer and consumer value from analytics products. You’ll collaborate with global product and technical teams, business stakeholders, and cross-functional partners to ensure successful project execution.
Key accountabilities:
The role is expected to deliver key advanced analytics capabilities to identify and to solve for business needs & opportunities in India. This includes aggressively executing against a clearly outlined plan, and strong collaboration to drive behavioural changes. This work will seamlessly integrate across transformation efforts and include use of Business Intelligence, Data Science, and emerging technologies such as Machine Learning, (wider) Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Process Automation.
The key accountabilities:
Enable better decision-making by building & embedding data & advanced analytics products.
Partner relevant teams to understand the business area, work with the team to evolve and define the business problems, translate that into a data & analytics problem, design the solution approach/Product to solve it and then deliver relevant insights that lead to actions. Be proficient at solving ad hoc business problems, working with technology partners managing the project timelines & milestone delivery.
Lead the journey from Data to Insights
Explore & Connect Large Datasets (both internal and external) to arrive at relevant insights. Help codify the knowledge to derive insights from data. Guide BI & data science teamson building descriptive, diagnostic and Predictive Models to help drive growth, especially through pricing & media interventions. Define KPIs for pricing initiatives, especially in digital world, help in monitoring and reporting these for performance management.
Stakeholder management
Work closely with business leaders, product managers, and technical teams, communicate project updates, findings, and recommendations effectively, collaborate with stakeholders to align strategies and drive results. The key business facing stakeholders would include CSP organization & brand teams.
What are we looking for?
A strong data storyteller with a passion for empirical research and for answering challenging questions with data & analytics. Extremely high willingness to learn & get their hands dirty. Passion for creative problem solving.
Overall, 4-6 years of relevant experience within pricing, growth analytics
Strong preference for MBA profiles with a degree in a quantitative field (Operations Research, Computer Science, Statistics, Econometrics, or Mathematics)
Experience working CPG, Retail, eCom preferred.
Ability to communicate complex analytic and data science solutions in an engaging, precise & actionable manner to non-tech audience.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a challenging environment.
Comfort with ambiguity & structuring new areas.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving organization, with a proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving.
