JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Use digital tools, social listening, and market research to uncover insights across countries, categories, and consumer segments.
• Translate these insights into product narratives, claims, and experiences that are emotionally engaging and technically sound.
• Assist in monitoring competitors and provide actionable intelligence to help guide R&D team and brand team.
• Help create Product Experience Toolkits (PETs) - Develop toolkits that help marketing teams bring product stories to life—especially for social media and digital-first platforms.
• Craft:
• Differentiated and credible product claims
• Science-backed demos and visuals
• Provide input and collaborate with the brand team for Social-first content comms ideas for campaigns and PR
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with teams in R&D, Legal, Regulatory, Sales, and Marketing to ensure claims and technology elements are seamlessly integrated into product and communication plans.
• Ensure all claims and experiences meet local regulatory standards and are backed by robust data (technical, clinical, consumer, sensory).
• Understand marketing communication plans to determine claim support required for claims substantiation; subsequently consolidate data from various sources to create robust claim support dossiers.
• Understand and help in generation of technical data, scientific experiments, and effectively analyse clinical and consumer studies to ensure robust claims support across PC (Personal Care) projects.
Lateral contact the candidate will have exposure to:
Design-Deploy market model needs close interaction with regions across the globe
Regions in Scope- Global
Global interfacing with R&D Global design centre in Mumbai
Interacting closely with strategic partners to develop capabilities leveraging these at global scale. Strategic partners include 3P like Clinical CROs, TUV, BTRA, Intertek,SGS etc
MINDSET & SKILLS:
Curious & Observant: Passion for consumer behaviour and psychology. Ability to spot trends and translate them into actionable insights.
Digitally Native: Deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, influencers and what content resonates with different audiences. Knowledge of Social Media algorithms to optimize for reach and conversion.
Great Communicator: Strong storytelling skills—able to simplify complex ideas and adapt messaging for different audiences and formats. Prefer videos, infographics, and interactive content over text-heavy formats for communication.
Analytical & Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with data, digital tools, and generative AI. Able to visualize and present insights in compelling ways.
KEY INTERFACES: CTI/ Claims manager, Technical Project Leader, Fellow design technologists, Legal, Regulatory, Marketing, CMI.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: B. Tech. Chem Eng. / Masters level qualification in science (e.g. chemistry, pharma)
EXPERIENCE:
• Relevant and Significant experience in Product Development/Content Creation/ Consumer Technical Insight/Clinical Research work.
• Experiences in product claims development or scientific communications is highly desirable.
• 2 – 4 years in CTI (consumer research/consumer technical insight)/ product Claims or product development
Area of Specialization: Product Development / Technology Development / Appraisal /claim and scientific communication.
