Job Purpose

  • The Homecare ambition is to be the no 1 manufacturer in ANZ, lightening the load of every household.

  • Drive Homecare Key Priorities for 2025 in line with our Growth Action Plan.

  • Develop and deliver a clearly articulated Category growth and operational plan by delivering against long- and short-term category objectives.

  • Work closely with Brand and CSP communities to develop and implement category plans which deliver business objectives through category and shopper though leadership.

  • Building business partnerships with regional brand/customer team as well as shopper marketing, R&D, finance and supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop & Localise Category Growth Stories to channel and customer level, with clear story telling.

  • Lead customer engagement on category growth and customer specific category plans.

  • Voice of the category and customer, connecting JBP and IBP.

  • Deliver current and future shelf ambition enabled by shopper insights and analytics.

  • Own retailer assortment Optimisation, NRM Lever 2/3.

  • Define & execute national innovation plan and launch plan to channels/customers.

  • Ensuring alignment to category value drivers and category growth stories.

  • Deliver strategically aligned commercial plan in market by deploying the strategy, USG targets and investments by customer.

  • Lead half yearly business review.

  • Own and deliver pricing and promo strategy, NRM levers 4 and 5.

  • Deploy core capabilities required to win by customer and channel.

  • Develop direct report to perform at Category Operations Manager level.

What you will need to succeed?

Experiences & Qualifications

  • 4+ years of business experience, preferably cross-functional with Customer facing and category experience.

  • Robust understanding of category and shopper tools; Nielsen, Kantar, Richmix, Space Planning.

  • Strong Business acumen and understanding of P&L.

  • Previous experience developing category growth strategies, shopper and shelf insight development.

  • An Innovation mindset, portfolio management and understanding of what it takes to deliver Market Making Innovation.

  • Strong influencing capability and emotional intelligence.

  • Commitment to deliver with accountability and responsibility.
