The Ice Cream business is operating in a highly attractive category, as we are part of the 1 trillion snacking and refreshment industry, growing consistently at high pace. We have strong brands equities: 5 of top 10 selling brands including Wall’s, Magnum, Ben &Jerry’s. We are investing to unlock the full growth potential of Ice Cream as a standalone entity, once we separate from Unilever, which is planned to happen by November 2025.

JOB PURPOSE:
Increase shopper understanding across the organization and increase the awareness of the importance of brilliant in-store execution and shopper activation to deliver both Category & Brands jobs-to-be-done and Business targets.
Contribute for the step-up of in-store communication across EU&ANZ, ensuring that best practices are shared and rolled out in other markets at Pace, ensuring that brilliant in-store execution brand guidelines are integrated in the key IBP Brand documents. Supervise, co-ordinates above activities across channels/Countries to ensure category/brand strategy incorporated in trade activities.
In parallel play an important role in supporting the creation and activation of an IH CSP and CBD community in the new Ice Cream company that is connected, shares best practices, by leveraging both Digital Communities and F2F events.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Responsible for the step-up of in-store communication, ensuring that best practices are shared and rolled out in other markets at Pace.
o Ensure coordination with the Retail Media team to maximize the impact in all on & offline shopper touchpoints.
o Responsible for the coordination with the marketing Teams, ensuring that brilliant in-store execution brand guidelines are integrated in the key IBP Brand documents.
o First point of contact to Marketing when an activation idea is being developed, responsible to validate activation idea can be efficiently amplified in store (building brands in store).
o Drive shopper insights into action across the BU.
o Create the Playbook on Perfect execution of the activity plan to support markets in the development of their local trade event plan, channel/shopper job to be done, budget need, promo guide, shopper activation plan.
o Support the creation of an IH Trade Marketing and Customer Development community that is connected, shares best practices, by leveraging both Digital Communities and F2F events.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
SKILLS:
• Shopper Marketing: The individual should have strong understanding of the different levers to pull when aiming to activate Shopper vs Consumer. Understands the existing ecosystem of Shopper touchpoints and how they can be maximized when well-articulated to increase the in-store impact and trigger impulse purchase.
• Merchandising – Knows the tools to optimize our shelf presence in store and to increase relevance and attractiveness of the Frozen aisle.
• Cross-departmental Collaboration – Understands the benefits of Shopper marketing and can translate and utilize capability to create value for our Brands and Customers.
EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS:
• Degree in Marketing, Trade Marketing or equivalent.
• Experience in Shopper Marketing, Brand management or Trade Marketing roles.
• Demonstrated capability to work with large number of stakeholders across different Countries.
LEADERSHIP:
• You will play an important role in the Ice Cream in-store shopper impact and in the overall building of the IH CSP and CBD communities of the new Ice Cream Company.
