UNILEVER IS LOOKING FOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANT MANAGER – NORTHERN EUROPE

Location: Hofplein, Rotterdam – the Netherlands

JOB PURPOSE

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE?

  • Assist in identifying and acquiring new distributors for Unilever products.

  • Support the development and execution of strategies to expand Unilever’s market presence.

  • Collaborate with retailers to introduce and promote new product innovations across all categories.

  •  Conduct market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities.

  •  Prepare and present business proposals, reports, and presentations.

  •  Monitor and analyze sales performance, offering insights and recommendations.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of plans.

  •  Maintain strong relationships with distributors and retailers.

  •  Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Experience in business development, sales, or marketing

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

1.Business Development & Sales

  • Prospecting and lead generation

  • Customer acquisition and onboarding

  • Negotiation and deal closing

  • Market and competitor analysis


2. Account Management

  • Building and maintaining strong customer relationships

  •  Understanding customer needs and translating them into new portfolio for all our Unilever brands or categories

  •  Managing customer expectations and satisfaction

  •  Driving turnover growth

3. Supply Chain Coordination

  • Understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes (order to delivery)

  • Coordination with logistics, planning, and customer service teams

  • Inventory and demand planning awareness

  • Issue resolution as part of your cross functional team
