Foods Benelux is a key segment of the business contributing to nearly 1/3 of the Foods Europe business playing in the top priority verticals of Condiments, Cooking Aids and Mini meals, behind beloved brands like Calve, Lipton Iced Tea, and Knorr.
JOB PURPOSE:
Unilever Benelux is looking for a creative and driven Employer Brand & Campus Specialist to help bring our employer brand to life across early and mid-career audiences. In this role, you’ll support the execution of our local Employer Branding strategy, working closely with the EB & EDI Lead, and play a key role in activating our presence on campus, across social media, and through engaging content and events.
You’ll be part of an engaging, people-focused HR organization where equity, diversity, and inclusion are at the heart of everything we do. WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE?
Shape and activate the Employer Branding strategy: Co-create and execute the local Benelux Employer Brand strategy, aimed at strengthening Unilever’s reputation and attracting both early and mid-careers talent.
Social-first Employer Brand engagement: Lead the development and execution of a Benelux social-first strategy that prioritizes human connection and storytelling across all touchpoints.
Lead campus partnerships and events: Organize impactful recruitment events (virtual, inhouse and external) in close collaboration with Campus U-fluencers (trainees and employees) and other stakeholders. Maintain and build strong relationships with universities, study associations, job boards and other early careers partners.
Mid-career talent engagement: Contribute to initiatives and audience specific campaigns aimed at attracting experienced professionals, ensuring alignment with Unilever’s EVP and talent priorities.
Social media & content creation: Develop and manage engaging content for platforms such as LinkedIn and Instagram. Ensure alignment with the global and local EB narrative and continuously optimize based on performance data.
Stakeholder collaboration: Act as go-to person for Employer Branding in the Netherlands and Belgium, working closely with HR, business stakeholders, and external partners. Provide input and support for recruitment communications, partnerships and events.
Collaboration with the Global Employer Brand team: Act as the local point of contact to the Global EB team. Co-create campaigns and ensure consistent messaging. Manage local updates to the global careers site to reflect Benelux talent priorities and increase local relevance.
ED&I integration: Ensure that all employer branding activities reflect Unilever’s commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
Data and insights: Track and report on key metrics related to Employer Branding (like Employer of Choice) and social media. Use insights to inform continuous improvement and demonstrate impact.
Flexible Support (~20% of time): On broader initiatives across Employer Branding, ED&I, and Future Careers (e.g. UFLP), depending on business needs and priorities. This includes contributing to the development of the overarching strategy, piloting new ideas, and supporting projects as needed.
SKILLS WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
You’re a creative thinker with a talent-first mindset and a passion for employer branding and inclusive storytelling.
You’re digitally savvy and confident using platforms like LinkedIn and Instagram.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive both independently and collaboratively.
You make decisions based on data and insights, not just gut feeling.
A passion for equity, diversity & inclusion, and the ability to reflect this in all our employer branding efforts.
Proactive, hands-on attitude with a drive to bring fresh ideas to the table and enjoy turning ideas into action.
You’re great at managing stakeholders and navigating across teams and seniority levels.
Good understanding of Retail Measurement services and / or use and analysis of consumer panel
EXPERIENCE
Experience in Employer Branding, Talent Partnering, and/or Social Media Marketing.
You’re a strong communicator in English. Dutch additionally is preferred.
Event management experience, proven track record in organizing and executing events (virtual/f2f).
Experience in creating and managing content for social media and digital products.
Familiarity with early careers audiences (e.g. students, graduates) in the Netherlands.
Experience working with internal stakeholders (e.g. HR, TA, Communications) and external partners (e.g. agencies, universities).
