ABOUT PROCUREMENT

Part of the Supply Chain family, Procurement is responsible for over 30B Euro of material and services spend globally with more than 60,000 suppliers. Getting the right services and materials, sustainably sourced and ensuring responsible procurement is critical to ensuring our brands with purpose grow. Our teams work closely with the business to understand stakeholders needs, bring innovation to meet changing consumer, employees and customers needs, and drive financial value for Unilever through competitive buying. We’re at the forefront of digital procurement, bringing new tools and analytics to drive data-based decisions. Our strategy is ‘Procurement with Purpose’ and focuses on buying responsibly, buying better, and growing together with partners around the world. WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

  • Business partner SC and R&D to deliver the innovation programme for the category. Ensure OTIF in all procurement elements;

  • Brief Portfolio Procurement on upcoming innovations and ensure supplier selection is in line with our Procurement Strategies and with sufficient capacity for growth

  • Coordinate and ensure competitive prices

  • Lead risk assessment analysis for materials and mitigation action plan

  • Drive internal savings by ensuring a focus on cost via a strong questioning attitude to every part of the spend

  • Analyze and ideate spends, specifications and external insights to come up with ideas on savings.

  • Identify and drive contingency and resilience activities; identify and follow up on opportunities to add flexibility to the supply chain.

  • Support ASA/ AMA (alternative supplier/alternative material) projects delivery for either resilience or 5S reasons

  • Secure supplier capacity and capability for strategic growth

  • Lead/support Sustainability projects (ex. Reduction of CO2 emissions, less and no plastic agenda) 

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required; Supply Chain/ Logistic, Business, Sciences, Engineering 

  • FMCG Supply Chain functions (Procurement, Logistics, Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Management, Planning) 

  • Fluent English level
