As TMICC Nordic Logistics Manager, you are responsible forlogistics operations, master plan development and execution in the Nordic region. The logistics network consists of frozen warehouses in Denmark, Sweden, and Finland. You are also responsible of running the daily operations with logistics team located across the different Nordic countries and our 3PL partners and you are the budget owner for logistics cost.
You play a key role in making sure we have a cost-effective repacking portfolio which serves the business needs and an efficient process of creating new repacks.
In short you are responsible of:
People management and development of the Nordic logistics & repacking team
Master plan development and execution
Logistics KPIs and solving any operational issues in the network
Integrate logisticsobjectives to Nordic supply chain strategy and be a member of the Nordic supply chain lead team
Competitive and sustainable Logistics Cost (CPT) for the Nordics, including RTM
MAIN TASKS:
Customer Orientation and Supply of Goods
Ensure reliable and efficient supply of goods to customers from the distribution centers (DCs).
Adhere to agreed service levels and adjust logistics to changing customer needs, for retails, distributors and e-commerce
Develop a flexible distribution network prepared for capacity expansions and changing market demands.
Logistics Management and Responsibility
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and legal standards in the DCs and logistics processes.
Overall responsibility for secondary transportation, warehousing, and logistic cost and servicein the Nordics.
Define, organize and execute roadmap (short and mid term) - together with the Europe logistic team, plan and manage the WH budget and investment management (CapEx) to achieve cost-cash-service goals.
Supervise and implement the Sweden warehouse project as part of Europe supplychain transformation (BigHero wave1)
Co-lead the regular 2Y transport tenders process and implement any new changes within the operations
Responsible for annual inventories and regular stock reconciliations.
Connect with logistic providers, Genpact and TMICC European logistic team to guarantee asmooth execution of product delivery with specific focus during the ice cream seasonality peaks.
Analysis and Optimization
Develop structured plans for continuous improvement of safety, quality, service, costs, cash and sustainability.
Use data-driven approaches to identify and implement savings potentials.
Introduce and scale best practices from internal and external sources to increase the efficiency and competitiveness of logistics.
Safety Management and Collaboration
Ensure the highest safety standards at the sites according to Security and SHE guidelines, quality assurance requirements, and legal regulations.
Support safety metrics and measures to prevent accidents and monitor implementation by the teams.
Promote solution-oriented collaboration in cross-functional teams to achieve strategic goals.
Close collaboration with internal logistics teams (Nordics, Europe) and external partners, including transport service providers, to manage tenders and long-term projects.
Leadership and Project Management
Provide a proactive approach to solve operational issue with the capability to balance short term operational intensity and long-term structural solutions.
Lead projects, risk/opportunity assessment, as well as reporting and communication.
Ensure a customer-centric perspective in strategic decisions and project initiatives.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
Professional Expertise
Deep knowledge in supply chain management, especially in warehousing, distribution, and transportation.
Experience in budget and project management (including CapEx) as well as cost optimization.
Experiencewith logistics best practices, continuous process improvement, and data-driven management.
Analytical and Strategic Skills
Strong analytical skills to identify efficiency potentials and derive strategic measures.
Ability to develop and implement long-term logistics strategies that balance cost, cash, service and sustainability.
Experience dealing with complex requirements and dynamic market conditions.
Leadership and Communication Strength
Excellent communication skills in English to operate cross-functionally and internationally. Swedish and/or Denish language knowledge would be a plus.
Team player with experience in coordinating internal and external partners.
Leadership competence and assertiveness, combined with a solution-oriented approach.
Personal Attributes and Mindset
Safety and quality-conscious actions with a focus on compliance with legal and internal company standards.
Proactive, structured working style with strong initiative and problem-solving skills.
Enthusiasm for innovation and the ability to develop creative solutions for current and future logistical challenges.
At least 3 years of experience in logistics, planning, or supply chain customer operations.
Passion for High Performance: The role requires the consistent optimization of logistics processes to ensure the highest safety standards, cost efficiency, and service levels in the distribution centers.
Personal Mastery: A structured, data-driven approach and a solution-oriented working style are crucial to mastering complex logistical challenges.
Business Acumen: The responsibility includes budget and CapEx management as well as the strategic development of warehousing and transport networks to ensure competitiveness.
Consumer Love: Designing flexible, customer-oriented logistics systems allows for meeting changing requirements and market needs.

As publicly announced, Unilever will separate its Ice Cream business which is expected by the end of 2025. This role will transfer to the new Ice Cream company.
