JOB PURPOSE:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepares and updates the Quality Management System procedure and ensures that quality standards and FSSC 22000 procedures are implemented and respected within the factory

• Is an internal auditor for FSSC 22000 and provides support in auditing local suppliers

• Has the role of monitoring and coordinating the process of investigating the causes of quality non-conformities, establishing preventive/corrective actions, checks effectiveness and the implementation of actions

• Manages complaints from consumers or clients and complaints to suppliers by preparing various investigation reports and providing support in their field investigation

• Develops and implements quality awareness programs at the factory level

• Provides support in the implementation of new projects in the factory (recipes, new packaging, regional innovations)

• Organizes, supports and sustains quality training for all factory departments

• Ensures compliance with the requirements of Romanian legislation regarding food safety in force

• Checks and complies with the annual contaminant analysis plan, contributing to the implementation of the program

• Supports the team in preparing documentation for audits or for other activities in the factory quality area such as the Internal Analysis Sampling Plan, the Sanitation Program or the Allergen Validation Program

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

SKILLS: Intermediate or advanced English knowledge; fluent in Romanian; good digital skills (MS Office and other programs);  good analytical and problem-solving skills

EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS:    University studies in Food Industry or a related field; Solid knowledge and experience in implementing a Quality Management System, FSSC 22000 and HACCP; it is an advantage to have at least 2 years of experience in a role as a Quality Supervisor/Inspector/Auditor as well as in handling consumer complaints

LEADERSHIP:   Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills
