JOB PURPOSE

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
- Managing and eliminating SHE operational risks and hazards to ensure an accident/ hazard free/echo friendly cost competitive operation.
- Design and lead projects that offer innovative/creative/digital solutions which move the site closer to its vision of zero injuries.
- Use data to reduce environmental footprint and increase sustainability.
- Support Unilever Manufacturing System (UMS) Activities to assure At-risk-behaviours and At-risk conditions are addressed. Monitor/track all corrective action measures to ensure they are effective and completed in an accurate and timely manner.
- Aid in managing the SHE Rewards and Recognition Program.
- Develop the annual site SHE budget (OPEX & CAPEX) to control fixed and variable cost expenditures.
- Drive the Continuous Improvement agenda using UMS as the operating framework.
- Provide support for the development and implementation of all SHE programs and Policies to ensure the Facility’s adherence to all applicable, global standards and local regulations.
- Coordinate investigation of incidents and injuries with Line Managers/supervisors to ensure accurate and timely completion.
- Provide operational safety and environmental performance feedback on a regular basis. Support the SHE Pillars, associated sub-committees.
- Support the SHE Unilever framework for site and employee safety teams.
- Provide support, instruction and training to Line Managers/Supervisors in regard to SHE framework initiatives.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
Experiences & Qualifications
- Min. 3+ years of experience in Safety, Health and Environment department
- Knowledge on Process Safety & Machinery Safety
- Strong problem-solving skills and good understanding of root cause analysis
- Ability to lead and implement safety actions and projects
- B.S. /B.A. in safety and/or environmental science, chemical/industrial/mechanical engineering and/or other related technical discipline
- Having experience in FMCG manufacturing environment
- At least C Class Safety Specialist Certificate (B Class is preferred)
Skills
- Knowledge and experience with SHE Management Systems (ISO14001 & ISO45001)
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks
- Have a good command of spoken and written English
- Communication and leadership skills on cross-functional teams
