 We are looking for a Data & BI Team Lead within our Customer Operations division at our headquarters located in Viladecans, Barcelona.

 As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing the Data & BI team, overseeing the development of scalable data solutions, and ensuring alignment with business needs.  You will bridge the gap between business and technical teams, ensuring the team delivers impactful insights and automation. This role is ideal for someone with strong business acumen, technical expertise, and leadership potential.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

• Lead and mentor a team of BI analysts and engineers, ensuring efficient task allocation and professional development.
• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of scalable BI and data engineering solutions for the Spanish business, including Supply Chain, Sales, and Marketing.
• Act as the main point of contact for cross-functional teams, translating business requirements into data-driven solutions that support decision-making.
• Ensure the development and maintenance of a robust data structure that supports dashboards and reports across the company.
• Own the dashboard and PowerBI ecosystem for the Spanish business.
• Drive automation initiatives using Power Platform tools, including Power Automate and Power Apps, and Visual Basic.
• Guide the implementation of data solutions in Azure, leveraging tools such as Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, ensuring efficient ETL processes.
• Provide technical leadership, conduct code reviews, and participate in strategic discussions to enhance data and BI capabilities.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, continuously improving team processes and solutions.
• Ensure adherence to Unilever’s development guidelines and best practices.

Collaborate with global teams to successfully implement global tools and align local data flows with global standards.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences & Qualifications

• Experience in a Business Intelligence, data engineering, or analytics role, with exposure to leadership responsibilities
• Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Python, SQL, and experience with Azure Databricks and Data Factory for data engineering workflows.
• Advanced experience creating dashboards and reports using Power BI, Power Query, and DAX, or similar tools.
• Understanding of data modeling, schema design, and query optimization.
• Background in Big Data, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field, OR 4+ years of professional experience in the field with a strong willingness to keep learning.
• Proficient level of Spanish and English, as you will be working with local and global teams.
