We’re looking for a Trade&Marketing Manager to join our team within the Home Care Business area at Unilever. You’ll be responsible for supporting the Trade& Marketing Home Care Manager Spai Lead in the development of the national Brand Marketing Plan (BMP) and the Trade Marketing Strategy for one of our Home Care brands, to meet company goals. This position is based in our Barcelona (Viladecans). WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The translation of the BVP into the Brand Marketing Plan (BMP). Brand Marketing Plan
• To develop and deploy the brand marketing plan by assisting in the execution of the integrated activity schedule.
• To build engaging launch plans and channel strategies (incl. promotions, media and POS visibility).
• ⁠Leads adaptation of brand communication assets, BTL media plan (Social, Influencer Marketing & PR) and delivers disruptive and innovative brand projects.
• Collaborate with the Spain CSP&Marketing HC Lead to define the short, medium, and long-term strategy for the company's brands within the assigned category, focusing on the point of sale.
• Adapt the generic category strategic plan for each channel, identifying key needs for each channel: Hypermarkets, Supermarkets, and Discounter channel.
• Activate it through key trade marketing levers (assortment, promotion, and in-store activation).
• Set, analyze, and post-evaluate KPIs to measure and assess the results of the defined strategy and activation plans.
• Work closely with the accounts team to define activation plans according to the needs of each channel and client.
• Define and control the brand activation plan, aligned with the brand strategy.
• Ensure excellence and flawless execution of category promotional plans.
• Ensure excellence and flawless execution at the point of sale for the developed activation plans.
• Monitor product stock for each brand, coordinating all necessary manipulations to meet customer service needs, in collaboration with the logistics team.
• Analyze and monitor the HC market, identifying key players, pillars, and activation levers crucial for market growth.
• Collaborate with key suppliers to activate previously defined plans: design agencies, printers, in-store activation agencies, direct marketing agencies, etc.
• Define and conduct market studies necessary to formulate the new category strategy.
• Responible for the brand and competitors performance analysis (sell in & sell out analysis) by evaluating support activities on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Monthly control of brand budget.
• Identifies solutions and recommendations to improve effectiveness.
• Assist in the brand’s day to day operational activities.
• Builds productive working relationship with CBD, Global Marketing, R&D, CMI, Finance and Supply Chain to manage the brand’s day to day operations.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences & Qualifications

  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field
  • ⁠+4 years experience in brand management, Marketing department and Trade Marketing. Experience in FMCG preferred.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to support strategic decisions.
  • Interest in consumer understanding, marketing communications and social-first strategies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish Skills
  • Team player with consumer centric mindset, strong communication skills, and proactive attitude.
  • High level of adaptability to cope with the dynamic nature of the consumer goods industry.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and methodologies.
  • Aesthetic eye and sensibility, creative mindset and "out-of-the-box" thinking. ⁠
