JOB PURPOSE

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

Are you passionate about understanding shopper behavior, analyzing market trends, and contributing to strategic growth plans? Join our team as a Category Strategy Intern and gain hands-on experience in shaping how our brands win in-store and beyond.

As part of the role, you will:

  • Support the CSP and local commercial teams in preparing category growth plans.
  • Assist in identifying brand volume opportunities using data and insights.
  • Analyze product mix and suggest improvement ideas.
  • Help develop materials for promotional activations (e.g., special packs, channel-specific offers).
  • Track competitor activity and learn how strategic responses are built.
  • Contribute to quarterly planning and internal processes like S&OP.
  • Join field visits to observe in-store execution and shopper behavior.
  • Support promotional budget tracking and reporting.
  • Learn how to build tailored category strategies for different channels and customers.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Curiosity and a proactive mindset
  • Good communication and collaboration abilities
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Interest in marketing, sales, and consumer behavior
  • Fluency in English
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

Experiences & Qualifications

  • University studies in at least the 2nd or 3rd year of university in Marketing, Business Administration, management or related fields
  • Understanding of marketing and trade marketing processes (is a plus)

Skills

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn.
  • English proficiency is required; knowledge of a local East European language is a plus.
  • Familiarity with market data tools (e.g., Nielsen, GfK) is a plus but not mandatory..
