JOB PURPOSE

​​Dove Men+Care is the fastest-growing male PC brand of the last decade, an almost €1bn brand with an ambition to double its size by 2030. Dove Men+CarePersonal Care is one of the largest cells for personal care globally and is a key growth driver for the category at Unilever. As the US Dove Men+Care Influencer Marketing Associate Manager, you will work with the iconic brand to develop long term influencer strategies and establish best in class processes to upskill capabilities in this discipline.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

This role collaborates closely within the Performance & Engagement and Digital Commerce marketing global and local teams to set up a strong connection between owned and paid media and content by engaging with and leveraging influencer activity across channels (e.g. paid media, shopper, ecommerce, etc.)

Lead Others Say Campaign Development and Execution

  • Develop and execute multi-tiered, data-driven influencer marketing strategies for tentpole and always on influencer marketing campaigns (paid and earned)

  • Drive compelling and consistent messaging across earned and influencer channels. 

  • Identify, cultivate, and manage partnerships with influencers that align with the Dove Men+care brand ethos and resonate with target audiences. 

  • Oversee the execution of influencer campaigns, ensuring alignment with marketing objectives, and measure the impact on brand growth and engagement. 

Stakeholder and Agency Management

  • Develop influencer and creative briefs, in partnership with agency partners to support campaign objectives

  • Develop and scope team projects that map to critical business goals 

  • Manage the organic seeding talent program, including target list development, outreach and identifying sampling/partnership opportunities

  • Manage paid boosting of all influencer content in partnership with internal teams and paid media agency partners

Performance Measurement and Insights

  • Track and analyze the performance of organic and paid influencer campaigns, providing actionable insights to inform future strategies. 

  • Leverage tools and analytics platforms to measure reach, engagement, earned media value, and brand sentiment. 

Organizational Development& SME

  • Establish best in class process to drive influencer marketing within the portfolio, including what best in class creative looks like to drive storytelling with influencer partners.

  • Partner with and upskill brand teams to author detailed influencer briefs, syncing with other consumer comms and marketing channels to identify potential integrated opportunities.

  • Keep up to date with industry trends / competitor activity and act as a thought leader on social media trends and influencer news especially focused on Gen Z, Millennial, Latinx, AA and multicultural audiences and influencers. Be the expert to gauge trends and inspiration in a consistently changing landscape.

  • Work closely with US PR contacts to share and embed best practices

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences & Qualifications

  • ​​Bachelor’s degree required

  • 4+ years experience of influencer marketing or agency experience required; experience in the beauty or personal care industry preferred

  • Strong relationships with media contacts and experience managing influencer partnerships and campaigns. 

  • Proven ability to create and execute communications strategies that drive earned media and brand engagement. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a knack for storytelling and brand-building. 

  • Strong project management skills, with an ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Deep understanding of influencer marketing best practices and social media platforms. 

  • Strong curiosity and entrepreneurial spirit; leadership and ability to work in a matrixed organization

  • Robust analytical skills

Ability to analyze engagement metrics, user feedback, and trends to improve content strategies and community initiatives.

Experience working with influencers, brand advocates, and cross-functional teams to execute campaigns and foster brand partnerships.

Staying up-to-date with evolving social media trends and platform features, and being adaptable to changes in consumer preferences and community dynamics.

Skills in handling reputation management, identifying and mitigating risks, and escalating issues when necessary.

Pay: The pay range for this position is $84,400 to $126,600. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
