What will your main responsibilities be
Providing shift breakdown support packing lines, mixing plants, Palletising, utilities, waste treatment plant.
Understand and conduct complex fault finding and repairs of electrical, electronic components including instruments.
Participating in autonomous maintenance programs.
Completing site focused improvements and small projects across the site.
Monitor and evaluate the condition of all electrical, electronics and instrumentation.
Working as a team player to maintain and improve plant efficiency.
Analyze data, solve complex electrical, instrumentation and automation problems.
Training and coaching electrical apprentices.
What you need to succeed
Experiences & Qualifications
Diploma or bachelor's degree in electrical, automation, mechatronics or electronics.
3+ years of maintenance, repair and project experience, preferably with FMCG industry experience.
Skills
Demonstrate understanding and application of the “five golden rules” of electrical safety (Isolate, Lock Out Tag Out, verify absence of Voltage, Ground connects in short circuit and working area delimitation).
Remove and replace major electrical components (such as motors, switch/control gear) and troubleshoot electrical circuits safely.
Able to isolate machinery and re-install electrical supplies for machinery components.
Establish power distribution systems and electrical control circuits.
Basic knowledge of power electronics (DC supplies, servo drives, PLC, etc.)
Able to create a machine breakdown report clearly stating the details, action taken and root cause analysis.
Demonstrate and exercise safety measures across the factory and report for any incidents related to safety.
Flexible within pattern of shift work to accommodate factory shutdowns, training courses and emergency cover.
Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and wiring diagrams, single line diagram, schematic, P, and ID.
TAFE Accredited Hazardous area Training
Robotic experience (ABB, Kawasaki)
Safety PLC understanding
SAP or CMMS experience
